About Me

Yiwen's Page profile picture
I am a 3rd-year undergraduate student at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, majoring in Economic Science. I am broadly interested in using quantitative and computational approaches to study social phenomena. In particular, I am interested in how beliefs, expectations, and social environments shape human behavior and social outcomes, and how these processes lead to certain results, such as inequality and bias among groups. For example, I am interested in how students’ cognitions are formed and biased during educational systems across time. Outside of academics, I enjoy coding as a free-time hobby. I am also passionate about computer games, especially Sims 4 (1000+ hours) and Stardew Valley.
